Justin's AI Newsletter
The most interesting content, news, and insights in AI each week.
Hi friends, hope you're having a great week. I've been writing this newsletter every week for almost 6 months now.
In a sea of AI newsletters, I'm incredibly grateful that you choose to read mine. My newsletter isn't just about the latest news or coolest AI tools—it's about sparking thinking. The future of AI is unwritten, and no one can claim to know it all.
That's why it's crucial for you to stay informed and develop your own viewpoints about what the future holds. This mindset will equip you for the rapidly progressing AI landscape.
💪 Force yourself to use AI every day
One of the most common things I hear from businesses and individuals regarding AI is: "I know AI has huge potential and benefits, but how can we actually put it to work in our daily operations?" The truth is, the more familiar you become with AI, the more opportunities for its application will emerge. As you continue to engage with AI technology, you'll nurture what I like to call an "AI intuition."
It takes time to fully grasp the scope of AI's capabilities in automating tasks. This understanding only becomes apparent after significant hands-on experience with the technology. This is why everyone should incorporate AI into their daily lives, even if they don't think they need to. Wondering how this could work? The next time you're writing an email, let ChatGPT enhance it for you. If you're working on a presentation, share your thoughts with ChatGPT and use its suggestions to refine your ideas. Seeking inspiration while designing a logo? Spend some time exploring Midjourney for ideas.
It's not so much about which specific tools you choose; what really matters is making AI a part of your daily routine. Set aside time and resources for your employees to try out new AI-powered tools. A consistent and concerted effort is the secret to unlocking AI's full potential and reaping its benefits within your business.
~Our AI product is soon to be released from its beta phase in the upcoming weeks. It will significantly ease the process of incorporating AI into your everyday tasks. If you want early access for your company, simply reply to this email. Newsletter subscribers will get early access. ~
🏬 The "App Store" of AI
This week, Microsoft and OpenAI announced a major collaboration: a unified plugin ecosystem for AI. Essentially, the plugins created for ChatGPT will be compatible with Microsoft's upcoming Copilot.
The basically creates the "App Store" for language models, offering an expansive platform for building entire products that will be available to hundreds of millions of users through OpenAI and Microsoft's integrated plugins.
If people continue to spend more time interacting with LLMs on a daily basis, then that is where their attention will be. Every business should make sure they are on top of this emerging platform.

TikTok is testing an in-app AI chatbot called ‘Tako’: TikTok is testing an AI chatbot called "Tako" in select markets. Users can ask Tako various questions about the video using natural language queries or discover new content by asking for recommendations. I'm not sure how I feel about these in-app chatbots. It reminds me of Snapchat, and I wonder if it's AI for AI sake.
