Hey friends,

Thanks so much for everybody's support over the past couple weeks with the Cassidy fundraising announcement.

We're really striving to build something totally unique and powerful in the AI space. It's been so exciting to see how businesses have been able to leverage our technology to truly automate their work.

This is just the start, a lot more to come!

Let's jump into AI this week...

AI LAUNCHES

🍓 The Next Few Weeks in AI

The next few weeks are going to be pivotal in AI. We've got a lot of events coming up. What I'm most excited about is finally seeing what the Next Frontier foundational model will actually look like.

We have some confirmed reports that OpenAI is going to finally be releasing their next model later this fall, and a lot is riding on this model…

"Strawberry" is set to bring improved handling of complex tasks and questions, which current models find challenging. This release will help gauge how rapidly AI is accelerating and if OpenAI is still top dog.

I'll be curious to see if OpenAI delivers the groundbreaking leap we're being promised or just a modest improvement over existing models. Check out my TikTok to learn more.

AI USE CASES

🤖 My Favorite AI Use Cases

A lot of people have been asking how I use AI & Cassidy in my day to day. So, I wanted to compile together some of my favorite Cassidy use cases and how I use it.

Automate RFP Responses

RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires can can be a real headache to complete. Why spend your valuable time searching for answers and copy/pasting the same information time and time again when you can use AI to automate the whole process?

Check out how we use Cassidy to save hours by cutting out the grunt work: [Learn More]

Customer Support Enablement

Many of Cassidy’s features were built to solve problems we’re tackling internally. With Cassidy’s rapid growth we had to find a way to better serve our customers and respond to an increasing number of customer support questions accurately and efficiently.

Searching for answers and writing out repetitive emails takes time, so we created a customer support assistant and copilot that does it all for us.

Automated Content Creation

AI generated content is notorious for sounding superficial. Subtleties in tone or context are frequently missed, leading to content that might seem off or misaligned with the intended message. This is less than ideal for marketing materials, which need to have tailored messaging and a consistent brand voice.

Cassidy lets us create on-brand content that looks and sounds like us. See how the marketing assistant we built uses previous examples of content and information from marketing files to write a blog post: [Learn more]

Internal Q&A in Slack and Microsoft Teams

How much time do you spend fielding questions from direct reports, new hires, managers, etc? Too much? Yeah, me too.

Instead of getting pinged all day (or pinging someone else) now you can let AI deal with it. Cassidy's Slack and Teams assistants make it easy to get all of your internal questions answered right in your preferred messaging app. Check it out: [Learn more]

AI LAUNCHES

xAI's Colossus Supercomputer

In just 4 months the xAI team has spun up the most powerful AI training model ever created. Boasting 100,000 Nvidia H100 GPUs, with plans to double that to 200,000, this supercomputer is a key strategic move for xAI, challenging the dominance of other AI giants.

Following the controversial launch of Grok 2's image generator last month, xAI seems to be on a roll of sorts...with no signs of stopping. Grok 3, which will be trained on Colossus, is expected to be released in December. Grok 3 will likely be the most powerful AI we've ever seen and one hell of a way to close out the year!

AI TIPS

🪓 ChatGPT Prompt Hack of the Week

"Think about what I’m trying to do with First Principles, and make edits accordingly."

If you’re in a conversation with ChatGPT and consistently get bad output, try adding the sentence: “Think about what I’m trying to do with First Principles and make edits accordingly.”

In longer conversations, ChatGPT can sometimes become disoriented. However, implementing “First Principles” thinking enables it to analyze the entire conversation and identify the core issue you want to address. This approach has proven to be a super effective way to get ChatGPT back on track without starting a new chat thread.
